Today I'm reviewing and giving you my first impressions of the Carlie Bybel Deluxe Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette. (£22) As I mentioned before, I can't get enough of palettes, I just love them and I haven't tried anything from BH Cosmetics yet. I purchased this quite recently and I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you!

It's a large eye and face palette that has been designed and inspired by the YouTuber and beauty guru Carli Bybel, in collaboration with BH Cosmetics. With over 5.6 million subscribers, Carli is well known and popular in the beauty community. This is a deluxe version of her previous eye and face palette, it contains some of the most loved shades from the previous one but she's added seven new eyeshadows and three new highlighters.

Beautifully versatile, it features twenty-one colours, with fifteen shadows, in neutral and mauve tones and six highlighters in stylish, glam shades. There is a nice mix of mattes and shimmers which makes it easy to create every day and evening glam looks. Each feel buttery smooth to apply and have a bold colour pay off. The highlighters in this really impressed me, as they so pigmented and leave you with a gorgeous glow! I have included some swatches of the shadows and highlighters below.

This is my perfect palette as the shades are very me and I love the shimmers! I adore the marble packaging and the little touches Carli has put into it. It's beautifully presented with the 'Aspire to Inspire' quote and the flower pattern on the bottom four highlighters, it really gives it an extra pretty touch and shows of Carli's personality. Another positive is the fact that the packaging is super sleek and has a magnetic closure and sleeve. You also have a lovely range of shadows and highlighters and a mirror, so It would be perfect for taking on holiday! It's also amazing value for money, considering the amount of product and quality you are getting!

This is the perfect palette to define, enhance and highlight to your desire!

I hope you enjoyed this little first impressions/review and let me know your thoughts on the palette if you have tried it! xxx

It's finally getting into Spring time, which is one of my favourite times of year, I'm so ready for the warmer weather and Spring/Summer outfits! I thought I would share with you my go to Spring/Summer makeup look. I don't know about anyone else but I never have time before work or Uni to put a lot of time into my makeup and when the warmer weather comes, heavy makeup is a definite no, I cannot stand the way that it feels on my face!

For this look I used the foundation I always use, which is the Too Faced Born This Way. (£29) It has a medium-full coverage that is dewy and brightening, and if you are like me and struggle with dry skin, this foundation would be perfect or you! I use the shade Vanilla. The next step was concealer, I just popped a bit of the Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer (£17.50) in the shade No 1, under my eyes to brighten. I filled in my brows using the Benefit Brow Zings (£26.50) which is my fave, I use shade 5. I then went on to starting the eye look.

For this eye look I used my all-time favourite palette, the Too Faced Natural Love Palette, (£41) which is perfect for Spring/Summer looks. I applied the shade 'Honey Butter' in the crease and then the shade 'Cutie Patootie' all over the lid, for a warm, shimmery pink eye. I then applied the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£8.99) to my top and bottom lashes, this is my favourite drugstore mascara! And also, a bit of Soap and Glory's Supercat Liquid Eyeliner (£6.50) to my upper lash line.

I bronzed up my face with one of my favourite bronzers, the Too Faced Chocolale Soleil. (£25) It also smells amazing, just like chocolate! I then added a little pop of colour, using Benefits Dandelion Blusher. (£24.50) For highlight I dusted my Dandelion Twinkle, (£24.50) also by benefit, onto my cheekbones, nose and cupids bow. It gives off a subtle but pretty glow. For lips I went for a pale, bright pink, it is the shade Saint Germain by MAC, (£17.50) this was my first ever Mac Lipstick so it feels a little sentimental to me! I finished off by spritzing a bit of Mario Badescu Facial Spray, to keep my skin hydrated. (£7 - £11)

Barry M High Shine Rose Hip Nail Polish

I thought I would mention my go to Spring nail polish which I have included in the look. It's the Rose Hip Gelly High Shine Polish by Barry M, (£3.99) a beautiful pale pink shade, and to me it just screams Spring!

Happy Spring!

What's in My Handbag? Spring Edition

So today I'm sharing with you the contents of my bag, and my essentials for Spring! I don't like to carry much around with me as there is nothing worse than a heavy bag, so a lot of these products are travel size.

My bag is a pink Micheal Kors bag, which I can't find online but I bought this one from TK Maxx, I have found a few little designer bags in there which I love! I take with me accessories and useful beauty products, that are easy to use and apply on the go.

iPhone - So not very interesting but because everyone carries there phone around, but for me a pink glittery case is a must, sparkle wherever you go!

Accessorize Heart Compact Mirror - Compact mirrors are an essential for me, this heart one from is super girly, so if anyone ever needs a mirror you can show off your pretty one! This one is years old but I found this stunning Grey Alphabet Diamonte Mirror (£8) which is going straight to my wishlist!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau de Toilette 30ml (£42) - A feminine light and airy, floral fruity fragrance that just screams Spring! This little bottle is perfect for keeping in your bag, I love to top up the scent throughout the day.

Waitrose pure Hydration Lip Balm (£2) - A shea butter and almond lip balm, that keeps lips moisturised and it's perfect for sensitive skin. I also love the simple but pretty packaging

Soap & Glory Mini Hand Food (£2.50) - A hand cream that's the perfect handbag size, with pretty pink packaging. It makes your hands feel super soft and it has a delightful floral fruity scent!

River Island Pink Sunglasses - Of course even my sunglasses are pink, I love to carry sunnies with me in Spring, they are practical but also the perfect hair accessory! These are a few years old but I found another pair on their website which I love. Pink Mirrored Lens Cat Eye Sunglasses. (£14)

Benefit Boi-ing Airbush Concealer (£17.50) - This is a sample size of the concealer which I like to keep in my bag, it's a light-weight concealer that leaves skin with an airbrush finish!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe Herbs and Rosewater (£11) - A refreshing hydrating mist for all skin types, it can also be used to set makeup. I love applying this throughout the day to refresh my face.

Benefit Ka-BROW (£20) - This is a sample size product, I use the Benefit Brow Zings but like to keep the mini Ka-BROW with me to top up my brows throughout the day. One must always ensure brows are on fleek!

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Luminous Lipgloss in the shade Sweet Pink  (£18) - A pretty pink lipgloss that leaves lips with a lustrous shine. In Spring, I much prefer wearing a lipgloss to a lipstick, I find that they feel a lot lighter and more comfortable on the lips.

Benefit Dandelion Twinkle Powder Highlighter (£24.50) - I absolutely love highlighters I'm obsessed with a pretty glow! This one from Benefit is my favourite, a nude pink powder highlight that creates a whisper-light radiance that twinkles like a dandelion under sunlight. This product comes with a mini brush inside so it's perfect for travel!

Sudio Sweden Wireless Headphones (£59) - Pink wireless headphones, what more could you as for?! I have the Pink Vasa Bla, being wireless they don't get all tangled in your bag and they are so comfortable to wear. Plus, battery life for 8 hours, making them perfect for travelling with!
